SUMMER CAMPS TEACHERS NEEDED IN ZHEJIANG

If you would like to take part in our 2009 East Coast
Summer Camp Program please send your application and

Length of Camp: ONE MONTH

ATT: 2009 East Coast Summer Camp

Application requirements:

1. Must be from UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, Australia
or New Zealand
2. Must be in China now
3. Must have a valid visa at least until the end of
August, 2009
4. Must submit the following documentation:

a) Updated and detailed resume
b) Recent full body length photo
c) Copy of Passport and valid visa page

CAMP DETAILS

Total duration of the camp: 7th of July to 8th of August,
2009

The camp is divided into the following sections

SESSION ONE

9th of July - 21st of August

- one day break in between

Accommodation:

- Furnished apartment with air conditioning and
shower
- Apartments are shared with one other teacher
- Meals are provided in the schools canteen

All teachers will have a 2 day break 每 free time

SESSION TWO

24th of July 每 8th of August

- Teachers will be arranged to another school
(primary or middle school). Teachers are expected to
arrive ready to undertake Session Two on the 23rd of July,
with Session Two commencing on 24th of July.
- one day break in between

Accommodation:

- A standard hotel room with air conditioning and
shower
- Rooms are shared with one other teacher
- Meals are provided in the schools canteen

ARRIVAL DETAILS:

- Teachers are expected to travel to HANGZHOU and
arrive at Hangzhou Railway Station on JULY 7 between
9:00am and 5:00pm. The school will greet you upon your
arrival at the Hangzhou Railway Station and drive you to
the camp and your accommodation
- Teachers are responsible for their own travel,
medical and insurance costs

SALARY PAYMENT:

- 7000RMB plus a 500RMB completion bonus according
to the teachers performance= 7500RMB for the successful
completion of the summer camp program
- Payment will be made on the last day of the
Summer Camp
- Note: Teachers who do not fulfill the ENTIRE
summer camp program are not entitled to a salary payment

LESSON FORMAT AND STRUCTURE

Class sizes: 20-40 students
Class times: 8:00 - 11:30am
2:00 - 5:30 pm.
With some evening activities
Class duration: 40-50 minutes, with a 10 minute break in
between.
Teachers workload: 6 hours per day, 6 days per week
Sunday off (meals not included)

- Teachers are encouraged to bring teaching
materials and resources with them so as to create a full
and interesting learning environment. Playing games,
singing songs, watching and discussing movies, playing
sport in a structured fashion are all encouraged so as to
promote the students English speaking abilities.
